26-28, June, 2008, EUROPACK Ltd took part in the First Voronezh Investment Forum.

26-28, June, 2008, the First Voronezh Investment Forum was held, which was organized by a rating agency ‘Expert RA’ in association with the Administration of Voronezh region.

The Forum Region?s partnership is the competitive power of Russia gathered over two thousand participants from 33 constituent entities and 15 foreign countries. One of the participants was EUROPACK Ltd, which also acted as sponsor for the Forum.

Governor of Voronezh region V. G. Kulakov, Chairman of the State Duma  B. N. Gryzlov and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry  Е. М. Primakov welcomed participants of the Forum. In their speeches they noted that participation in the Forum certainly contributes to the development of interregional contacts, effective dialogue between the authorities and society, creating conditions for innovation development of economy and business, including small and medium business.

Within the Forum program there was a presentation of resources and investment projects of Voronezh region and an exhibition of the region's investment potential. EUROPACK Ltd presented its investment project as well; in the company's exhibition stand where were displayed products and future development plans. Deputy Head of the Administration for Economy, Finance and Investments Sergey Kurilo reported that one of the outcomes of the Investment Forum was signing of major agreements where the city Administration acted as a party or a third party.

One of these agreements was the Agreement on cooperation between the Administration of the urban district of Voronezh and EUROPACK Ltd. The subject of the agreement was the establishment of strategic partnership and effective and mutually beneficial long-term cooperation of parties with respect to the investment project ‘Establishment of the cardboard and paper production with a capacity of 100 thousand tons per year and corrugated packaging with a capacity of 200 million square meters per year with investments of 1.5 billion rubles.
